Hi, I’m Liz!

I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a wife, mom to two spirited little girls, and the baker behind Sun & Slice. I call Raleigh, North Carolina home, but you’ll usually find our family splitting time between Raleigh and Wrightsville Beach whenever we can.

Life is wonderfully full over here—sticky kitchen counters, sandy car seats, endless loads of laundry, and two little girls who keep me on my toes. Somewhere in the middle of the beautiful chaos, you’ll usually find me with a cup of coffee in hand, cooking a meal for family or friends, reading a good book, playing mahjong with friends, sneaking in a long walk, or enjoying what I firmly believe is the best way to end any day… dessert.

I’m passionate about supporting local businesses, raising kind humans, gathering people around the table, and making food with real, simple ingredients.

Sun & Slice was born from my love of Key lime pie and my belief that some things are worth doing exceptionally well. My hope is that every pie brings a little sunshine to your table and becomes part of your own celebrations, big or small.
